Maybe a mad idea but here goes..........................................

DVD's
There are many films, tv shows/sitcoms and stand ups that we all want to watch but not necessarily want to buy rent or keep.

You/we could post what you want, then someone is bound to have it, then just arrange to meet up at a game to "lend"

I just came up with this because a few of us were talking about different films that we had and hadn't seen and between the 4 of us we had all we were talking about.

I think you will get the gist of what I'm saying!

This could work with a variety of items, eg: Tools

Seems like a reasonable idea.

From my experience there are a few potential downsides to lending stuff though. What happens if someone breaks, damages or loses something they have borrowed? Oh, and how do you deal with the common problem of getting something back when an item is borrowed for longer than was originally intended?!?

IF!! it was to "take off" you/anyone would post what they want, then its up to the lender to decide whether to offer the wanted item. As for damage etc, like anything, if that happens then it should be replaced like for like, after all its something that you want to watch/use but don't want to buy/keep.

Like most things, set up "guidelines"
